Introduction
Search in Arabic for sugar-free cake and most results are recipes (such as Mawdoo3 articles), not sellers you can order from. That makes it hard for anyone who actually wants to buy. Here is how to ask.
What do the words mean?
- Sugar-free: usually means a sweetener is used instead. Ask which one.
- Gluten-free: means no wheat or ordinary flour. Ask what replaces it.
Not every baker offers these. Ask before you spend time.
Questions for the baker
| Question | Why |
|---|---|
| What do you use instead of sugar? | Types differ and you want to know exactly |
| What do you use instead of flour? | So you can check ingredients |
| Can you write the ingredient list? | You keep it and refer back |
| Are the same tools used for wheat and nuts? | Cross-contamination |
| Will there be a label with ingredients? | Clarity at pickup |
Common allergens
Ask the baker to state each one: milk, eggs, nuts, wheat (gluten), soy, sesame.
Please note
- We give no medical advice. If you have a health condition or allergy, ask your doctor before ordering.
- "Sugar-free" or "gluten-free" is something the seller says. Ask for ingredients in writing.
- For a serious allergy, say so in your first message and ask whether she can keep preparation separate.
