How many days ahead should you order a cake? Ramadan, Eid and graduation

How many days ahead should you order a cake? A simple calendar for custom cakes in Riyadh on ordinary days, Ramadan, Eid and graduation season.

Introduction

The easiest way to spoil a party is to order the cake the day before. This guide gives you a simple calendar for a custom cake in Riyadh, from ordinary weeks to Ramadan, Eid and graduation season.

Ordinary days

Preparation time depends on the seller and the design. We found no reliable figure for home bakers, so the rule is: ask the baker how many days she needs. Many need several days, and the harder the design, the longer it takes.

A published example: a themed princess or fairy cake on one gifting site needs 3 days' preparation (Haddiyah).
