The types, in plain words

• If you want motorised curtains, is the wiring included?

Measuring

Do not rely on your own measurements. Ask the fitter to come and measure. A wrong size is usually hard to fix, and custom-made goods have no 7-day return under the E-Commerce Law, so the shop should own the measuring. Before you agree:

• Agree the type (roller, zebra or wave) and the exact fabric.
• Ask for the measurements to be written in the quote.
• Ask who pays if the curtain comes out wrong.
