If you join as a business or tradesperson, we collect: your name or business name, WhatsApp number (and a second number if you add one), email if you give it, what you do, the city and districts you cover and any other cities you serve, how you work (you come to the customer, they come to you, or online), for food sellers your pickup district and delivery areas, fee and minimum order, your website or Instagram if you add it, your prices if you add them, and photos of your work. If you choose to, you can also send your ID or Iqama, CR, VAT certificate, Balady licence, trainer licence, Productive Family certificate or other certificates so we can check them. Documents are optional.
What is shown publicly on laqeeni.sa: your name or business name, what you do, the areas and cities you cover, how you work, delivery areas or pickup district (district only, never your address), delivery fee and minimum order, whether you are a female or male trainer or designer if you tell us, your contact number, your website or Instagram if you add it, your work photos, any prices you add, the badges you've earned, and "Away until [date]" if you pause your profile. For personal trainers, we also show your Saudi REPs licence number and expiry date so customers can check it. Your ID and document photos are never shown.
Your ID and documents: we use them only to check who you are and give you a badge. Once the check is done, we delete the photo and keep only a note that it was checked (and, for trainers, the licence number and expiry date, so we can remind you before it runs out).
Pausing your profile: if you tell us you're away, we keep your return date, hide you from lists until then, and send you a reminder before you're back.
Messages: when you message us on WhatsApp, we keep the conversation, including voice notes, so we can help you. Voice notes may be turned into text and translated automatically.
If we found you on a public website: we sometimes find tradespeople through public adverts, for example on Haraj, and may send one message inviting you to join. If you don't want to hear from us, reply STOP and we'll delete your number.
Customers: if you give your WhatsApp number on a business's page, we keep it with the names of the businesses you contacted, only to send you one message afterwards asking how it went. We don't share it, we don't send you adverts, and we delete it within 6 months.
Ideas and suggestions: if you send us an idea, we keep your message, and your name and number if you add them, only to reply to you.
Cities coming soon: if you leave your number to hear when Laqeeni opens in your city, we send you one message when it opens and then delete your number (or within 12 months).
Website visits: we count visits and which page or advert people came from, to see what works. This does not identify you.
Why we use your details: to set up and show your profile, check who you are, contact you, and help customers find you. We use your details only for these reasons, with your agreement. We never sell them.
Where your details are kept: we use trusted service providers to run Laqeeni: Cloudflare (website and database), Google, YCloud and WhatsApp (messages), Zoho (email) and Anthropic (an AI assistant that helps us check details and translate messages). Some of these store data outside Saudi Arabia. Only the Laqeeni team can see your private details.
How long: for as long as you're listed. If you ask to be removed, we take down your profile and delete your details within 30 days.
Your rights: you can ask to see, correct or delete your details at any time, or stop messages, using the contact details above. We reply within 30 days.
